Nourishment is at the foundation of the Wise Woman Tradition. At both the fall Southeast Wise Women Herbal Conference and the spring Herbal Immersion, Sally Fallon's Nourishing Traditions cookbook is the guide for our menus. She turns our attention to delicious seasonal foods prepared with simple techniques which increase their nutrients and digestibility.

Last fall, we had the honor of bringing Sally Fallon as special guest to the fall conference. We we delighted to receive rave reviews on her classes covering fats, oils, dietary myths, grains, dairy and more.

immersionThis wisdom is woven through the May Herbal Immersion as Corinna Wood brings hands-on food preparation techniques to life. And all the meals are lovingly prepared from local, seasonal, organic ingredients! This nutritious and delicious fare nourishes and inspires participants all week long.
The Herbal Immersion, May 25-30, is a wise woman journey where we learn about deep nourishment; local plants, and self love. Women taste, touch, identify and journey with plants and wild foods; make oils, vinegars, and salves; and create fermented foods such as sauerkraut (pictured above) and yogurt. Join us in delving into the wise woman ways and discovering your own wise woman within.
