Our overnight accommodations range from hotel-style inn rooms to camping.
Kanuga Lake Inn
Each of the 43 centrally-located Historic Cottages features a porch, a living room with a fireplace, and plenty of charm. These fully-winterized cottages range in size from two to six bedrooms. Each bedroom has two beds and either attached or hall bathroom.
These winterized lodges are located adjacent to the main campus, at Kanuga's Bob Campbell Youth Campus (which includes several conference classrooms). Each building holds 2 or 3 lodge rooms and a comfy common room with couches and a fireplace. Each lodge room has 20 twin bunks and a full indoor bathroom with sets of toilets, showers, and sinks. Pillow, sheets, and blankets are provided. Conveniently located, with just a 5-10 minute walk to the main campus as well as the lodges' satellite parking.
The two camping areas are a large centrally located grassy field, and a more remote area along the shores of Kanuga Lake. Camping is rustic but fun. It is free because we aren’t able to provide camping comforts, so be prepared to rustic camp. There are porta-potties available for campers but no indoor bathrooms or showers. You must bring your own camping gear including a waterproof tent, ground cloth, sleeping bags, pads, flashlight and anything else you need to be comfortable for the weekend. No open fires permitted, even in fire bowls. You may bring a camp stove for cooking. Satellite parking only.
Set back among the rhododendron and pines, each of the six Guest Houses has four bedrooms each with a private bath, a living room with a fireplace, and two porches. Most bedrooms have one double and one twin bed.
Family rooms are the private lodging option for women who are attending with youth (who are registered in our youth programs). Recommended capacity is 1 woman and 1-2 children.
We encourage women to stay onsite to enjoy the dawn to dusk offerings of the herbal conference. We also have the option for women to come and go. Due to limited parking onsite, our commuter parking is satellite only. If you plan to commute, factor in extra time, on both arrival and departure, for travel to and from the satellite lot.
