I'm nervous about Hurricane Michael. Is the conference still on? What if I can't make it?

Yes, the conference is on! We will hold the event October 12-14, rain or shine.

We do understand your concerns about the weather and have been following the predictions closely ourselves. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the rain will be less than expected and move out quickly, making way for a beautiful sunshiney weekend. And we will be packing our rain boots just in case.

Remember that our cancellation policy states that there will be no refunds for cancellations after September 5th. If you are unable to join us, we would appreciate you sending us a message so we are not anticipating you at check-in, but we are unable to offer refunds. You are welcome to transfer your registration to a woman of your choice—just send an email to let us know her name and email address, and please send her your arrival instructions.

We're looking forward to a wonderful gathering of women at Kanuga this weekend!~

Can I still register? Will you have walk-in registration available?

Online registration is closed. We will not have walk-in registration this year.

Can I come for one day? Can I just sign up for an intensive?

The conference is a 3 day event. You are welcome to register and come and go as you please, but we do not offer a discounted price for 1 or 2 days. You must be registered for the conference to sign up for and attend the intensives.

How do I add an intensive or other item to my existing registration?

You can sign up for intensives and workshops at the conference as long as there is still space available. Indoor lodging, meal tickets, and youth programs are sold out.

I need to cancel. Can I get a refund?

Our cancellation policy is clearly stated on the registration page of the website. Fees are refundable for cancellations prior to September 5th, minus an $80 office fee. After September 5th, there will be NO refunds. You can transfer your registration to a woman of your choice at any time. If you wish to transfer your registration, send us an email with your name, the name of the woman who will be taking her place, and her email address. And we will take care of the rest. Or you can send a email asking us to donate your registration to a woman on the scholarship waiting list.

I see Meal Tickets are sold out, what are my food options?

We bring in several food trucks and vendors with a variety of food and beverage choices including vegetarian and gluten free options. There is an indoor and outdoor eating area located near the food vendors, a great place to either gather with friends or meet some new friends, while enjoying a meal. Food Vendors will start serving at Friday Dinner.

You are also welcome to bring your own food.

Do you have any volunteer opportunities?

Yes, we do have a volunteer program but at this time all volunteer crews and positions are full.

We are taking a waiting list. To be added to the waiting list, complete the form on the volunteer page.

Do I need to sign up for classes ahead of time?

No class sign-ups are necessary. You will be given a program that contains a schedule and class descriptions when you check in. You just pick and choose the classes and events you want to attend. The only exceptions are the intensives and workshops which require pre-registration and an additional fee.

I would like to arrive Thursday. Can I check in Thursday?

No. We are sorry to say we are no longer able to offer early arrival.

I read that we cannot bring dogs. Can you make an exception?

No. To honor our agreement with the camp and with our insurance provider, we will adhere to our "absolutely no pets" policy, even if your dog is very well behaved, has never been left alone, etc. If you bring a pet with you, you will be turned away, no exceptions.

Service dogs will be permitted with prior approval.

Do you offer CE credits for nurses?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer continuing education credits for nurses this year. After many years of navigating the highly complex process and standards, due to the increasingly stringent administrative protocols at this time, it is not feasible for us to offer CE credits.
