Classes are grouped in sections for ease of understanding only. Participants may take classes in any section at any time without preregistration (except intensives which you must sign up for).


Herb Walk: Appalachian Plant Walk

The pharmacy of traditional healers was had by walking outside their door and into the woods. Historical mountain uses of the plants and stories from old-time herbalists and traditional healers such as Granny Light and Tommie Bass will intrigue as well as enlighten.
Herb Walk: Edible Wild Foods

This is not just theoretical knowledge of the plants. The lines between food and medicine blur as we spend enough time with each plant that you’ll be able to go home and incorporate free, abundant wild plants into your daily life!
