Classes are grouped in sections for ease of understanding only. Participants may take classes in any section at any time without preregistration (except intensives which you must sign up for).


The Aromatic Boudoir
with Katie Keyes

Using an all natural apothecary  including some beautiful essential oils, we'll concoct serums, perfumes, body powders and anointing oils, etc.  We'll talk about proper and sophisticated blending techniques, application suggestions and safe storage as well as sourcing ingredients.
Easy Extracts
with Teresa Boardwine

We’ll play with non-alcohol (vinegar, glycerin) as well as alcohol extracts including cordials which are a blend of alcohols. Discover which plants are best for each, extraction cycles, fresh vs. dried, and when to use. Demonstrations, tasting, and fun galore.
Elderberry Syrup
with Chonteau McElvin
Discover Elder the Great and explore the many uses of this mystic master. Learn to make Elderberry syrup, Elderberry cordial, and elderberry chutney. Samples will be available.
Herbal-Infused Wine
with June Ellen Bradley
Back when people relied exclusively on herbs for their general health, wines were essential. such One simple practice that has fallen by the wayside is infusing wine with herbs.  We will learn to revive this excellent and fun way to take in medicine.
Homemade Candles
with Arlene Bailey
Learn the secrets of successfully crafting candles from natural materials.  Using herbs, essential oils and beeswax, learn how to create candles that burn well and long!  Class will include demonstrations, handouts and samples.
Moxa—Magical Mugwort
with Victoria Taylor
Moxibustion is an ancient form of herbal healing using Artemesia vulgaris. Moxa can stimulate digestion, relieve malaise, reduce swelling, and treat cold symptoms. Indirect moxa is simple and can be done at home. We’ll cover the energetics, indications, contraindications, application, demonstration, and practice.
Partner Massage
with Katie Keyes

Learn the pleasure of giving and receiving a simple, stress relieving massage session. We’ll cover indications and contra-indications and a demonstration of a “clothes-on” partner massage. Enjoy the experiential exercises and take home a written sequence.
Tea Blending
with Chonteau McElvin
Explore Shamanic herbal tea blending and learn ways to call upon Spirit when creating herbal infusions for self and others.  Discover ways to recognize and read the signs and symbols within each blend.  Samples will be available.
