Lake Eden
As you drive up the tree-shaded lane onto the grounds of Camp Rockmont and first look out across Lake Eden to the Black Mountains rising behind, you know you are in a magical place. The site of the former Black Mountain College, Rockmont has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a beautiful natural setting - 550 acres of mountainous woodlands, including a 20 acre private lake.

Six meals are served in the beautiful Eden Hall including Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. The menu focuses on local, organically grown and produced foods including fruits and veggies, meats, dairy products, and breads. Our kitchen staff pride themselves on creating delicious and nutritious meals for you.
Weekend meal tickets cost $58 ($28 for children ages 2-10), including teas and infusions. Check out the mouth-watering fare served last year: 2009 Menu (pdf format). We do not offer coffee or soft drinks. Due to the volume of food the kitchen staff is preparing, they are unable to accommodate special food needs or dietary restrictions. If you choose not to purchase a meal ticket, you can bring your own food, purchase meals from an on-site food vendor, or enjoy meals in Black Mountain or Asheville.
